There are 3 steps you need to take if you want to get the Colorado nursing license as an entry-level practice nurse. Below are the complete steps you must follow to gain this dream career of yours.
⦁ Meet the entire prerequisites necessary for the job
Whether you take the bachelor’s program, an LPN diploma, or associate’s degree, the nursing school will still give you the prerequisites to fulfil. The prerequisites include courses in some topics like chemistry, English, and physiology. Every program will come with different requirements.
LPN programs, for example, usually accept the graduates of high school. But if you are interested in the bachelor’s program or associate’s degree, you must complete some undergraduate credit hours first.
⦁ Complete the education you choose
If you select the LPN program, you can complete the program only in a year. You will get precious things about nursing skills, especially from the physiological and psychological perspective. You must spend two years to be an RN based on the Board of Nursing Delaware rule.
To become an RN, you can complete the ADN or associate’s degree program in 2 years or the BSN or bachelor’s degree in four years. The program will also give you deep knowledge. You will also get the chance to have a better-paid job with some more responsibilities.
